Summer Fun with Trendy Twine

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
I hope that you are all having a wonderful week!
Today is my DT day to post over at the Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine blog.

Here is what I created.......

A Summer Fun Shaker card!!
For my card, I used the SVG Cutting Files Wavy Card Base.
For my papers, I used Recollections basic card stock & Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss card stock (yellow & navy blue) for some fun texture. The super fun die cuts (sun & life saver) are from SVG Attic's Just Beachy and the anchor is from SVG Attic's Cape CodThe "Summer Fun!" caption is from the Cricut Design Space. Now you know how much I love my sequins......so I had to sprinkled a few of the Candy Cane Sequins around my card.

I wrapped the Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine around the life saver.
For my shaker, I used the life saver file and Candy Cane Sequins with clear beads.

Next, I placed a red sequins and tiny pearl to the center of the Stars and Stripes bow which
I then adhered to the die cut anchor.

Christmas in July Day 4!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Saturday!!
I hope that you are all enjoying your weekend!
I still had some time to post my day 4 project for the Christmas In July Challenge over at
Catch The Bug. Woo-hoo! It was so close!

It is a BINGO Challenge!

(I chose Ribbon, Sparkley & Stripes)

For my sparkly & striped DP I used The Glitter Mat Stack from DCWV.
To color the adorable Little Penguin Winter I used Spectrum Noir Markers and Tombow-Dual Brush Pen Set. To make my shaker, I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Squares and some colorful sequins to the inside. I stamped the "Happy Holidays" sentiment from the
"Fun Vertical Greetings" from My Creative Time on a die cut banner. Next, for some extra sparkle
I adhered a silver bow on the die cut scallop square and sprinkled a few rhinestones. The silver bow was from a Christmas ornament that broke and I fell in love with the bow so I kept it......it was in my Christmas stash.

Here is a closer look at the shaker with the super cute penguin...

For the base of my card, I am using the following sketch from

Christmas In July Day 3!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Friday!! Woo-Hoo!
I was able to participate in 3 of the 7 day Christmas In July challenge over at Catch The Bug
so I am super HAPPY about that!!

It is a Make a Gift Tag Challenge!

The candy cane DP is from the "Evergreen Stack" from DCWV which went perfect with the super cute Bobblehead Christmas - Gingerbread from Bugaboo Stamps.
To color my image I used Spectrum Noir Markers which I continue to practice on the blending technique. Once my image was colored I adhered it to oval die cut from Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Ten. For some sparkle, I used clear glue on his nose and buttons.
I adhered a red chipboard bow with a white pearl on to a piece of red ribbon to the top of my tag.
Next, I stamped the "holidays!" sentiment from Happy Thoughts from My Creative Time.
