Merry Christmas!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Sunday!!
I hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend!
This morning I was able to have some time to craft and since I am keeping up with the Christmas in July theme I thought I would make more Christmas cards.

I started with the Craft Smith-Always Christmas paper pad and the stitched rectangles die set from GMD. For the circles I used the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies from MCT and the Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows Dies from MFT. To the center of each circle I added A Christmas sticker which I found in my sticker stash. Yay! for me! The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the It's a Magical Season stamp set from MCT which I stamped on a Stitched Pennant die cut from Verve Stamps (no longer in business). For the pretty bows, I used the Small Bow dies from Pink & Main.

Santa Cards

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Sunday to all!
During the weekend I was able to make these super cute Santa cards.
I was inspired by this week's Ch #376 ~ July's Sketch over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Here are my cards.....

For my cards, I used the Echo Park's Reflections Christmas collection kit and the stitched rectangles die set from Gina Marie Designs. For the circle & square shapes I used the George & Basic shapes cartridge. The Santa is from A Child's Year cartridge which went perfect with my pattern paper. For the holiday sentiments I used the stickers that were in the same collection.

Christmas In July Embellishment Box Swap

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Thursday!
For today's post I have a super fun project which I am SUPER excited to share with you all!
Not only because it is my 1st swap ever to participate but it is also my 1st embellishment box that I have ever made!! Yippeee!
Last month as I was viewing/commenting on a crafty friend's YouTube channel, I came across Ida. Ida @ Created To Create (HERE) YouTube channel was hosting a swap and I was one of the lucky ones to be accepted in this swap.

Now on to my project......
Oh! Did I forget to mention that it was a Christmas In July Embellishment Box Swap?

(sorry about the blurry pictures)

I sprayed the Krylon "Leaf  Green" hobby/craft paint to cover the outside portion of the small storage box which was purchased from the dollar tree. The festive papers are from the Craft Smith-Always Christmas paper pad.

To the center of the box, I created a shaker window. I used a scallop die, a happy holiday banner (Jolee's Boutique sticker) and filled it with Holly & Berries confetti. The pretty rhinestones are from the dollar tree. The red ribbon was from a gift basket that I had received from my birthday this past June 5th and the white flower was in my flower stash. Love the pretty white flower!

Here is a look at the inside of the embellishment box.
I placed small cupcake liners in each slot so that it would be easier to remove the items (I saw that idea on YouTube).

1st line:
rhinestones, flowers, snowflakes/tiny clothespins, paperclip embellishments
2nd line:
Tiny rosettes, ribbon, holly & berries confetti, charms/washi tape
3rd line:
dew drops/skittles, 3 handmade embellishments, small bows

For this swap you needed to make 3 handmade embellishments. I made tiny stockings that can be used as an ornament or a tag! I used the Jolly Jingles dies set from Verve Stamps (no longer in business), glitter foam, holly & berries confetti, tissue paper (red) and the captions are from the Christmas Reflections kit from Lori Whitlock.

I also made the paperclip embellishments with the left over scraps.

For the bows I used polka dot vellum sheets and the Small Bow Dies from Pink & Main. By the is one of my favorite bow dies to use. So cute!

Thank you Ida not just for hosting this swap but for your wonderful inspiration, positive words (always), and for being such a beautiful & humble person. I love that!!
