Spring with Trendy Twine

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Today is my day to post over at the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine blog month's beautiful feature the "Grape Fizz Trendy Twine".

Here is what I created.....A Spring Shaker card!

I used Recollections basic card stock & the flower card base
is from the Freshly Picked cartridge.

I wrapped a piece of Grape Fizz twine around the top portion of my shaker card and adhered a "Spring" die cut (Gypsy Wandering) to the center.

I placed adhesive to the back card cover of the flower portion.
Next, I started to wrap my pretty flowers with the Grape Fizz twine.
I added some rhinestones for a little bling of course!
Pretty, right?

The flowers and grass die cuts are from the Straight from the Nest cartridge.
Next, I added some pretty and colorful sequins.

Guest Designer: Die Cuttin' Diva's

Good day to all my bloggy friends!!
Happy Tuesday to all!!
Today I am SUPER HONORED to be this week's Guest Designer
over at Die Cuttin' Diva's!

This Week's Challenge...
~ April's Symbols ~
Flowers (Daisies) and/or Bling (Diamonds)

Here is my project for this challenge:
With Mother's Day coming up in a couple of weeks I knew that I needed to make a card for a special friend. For the card base I used the New Arrival cartridge and the DS.
I adjusted the size and duplicated the card base.
Then I used my cutting board to cut through the center because I only wanted to use the window die cut. I filled a pocket sleeve with colorful sequins that my bloggy friend Beth had sent me. Thanks BethI used the "Mother's Day" Title with the pretty Spring flowers from Miss Kate Cuttables. The colorful butterflies are from Flowers with Flourish & Butterflies from Miss Kate Cuttables as well. Next, I inked around the edges, placed adhesive rhinestones for a little bling and used glossy accents on the center of my pretty flowers.

Here is a closer look at the pretty & colorful sequins...

Thank you DCD for having me as this week's Guest Designer!
You are all AWESOME!!

It's your day!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
I hope that you are all enjoying your weekend.
Today, I have a super cute card that I made for a very special boy.
I used "The Edumacation Stack" from DCWV.
I colored the super cute Tennis Owl from DeNami Design Rubber Stamps with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used the Bunch of Circle Dies, Embossed Gift Card Holder (tab), and Happy Thoughts (sentiment) from My Creative Time.
For the banners I used Tiny Banners & Toppers from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).
I added the Sailboat Blue Skittles by Carri at DoubleClick for a touch of cuteness!!

For the base of my card, I used the sketch from the new Paper Play Sketches challenge #006.
