Cut It Up # 14: "Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss"

Are you ready for another Fun and Amazing challenge from
Cut It Up?

CH# 14:“Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss”
Dr. Seuss' birthday was March 2. 
Make something inspired by one of his books.
 (Use fish, cats, elephants, etc.)
Begins: March 8, 2013
Ends: March 20, 2013 at noon EST

Prize:It's a Wacky Scrapbook
 
Here's my project for this challenge:
A CAT in the HAT card!
With my (BFF) Gypsy and CAC2, I welded the HAT feature on pg 51.
The red layers of my hat is from the Icon Layer feature.
I stitched around my red layers (hat) with a gel pen.
 I copied and cut my Dr.Seuss clipart images (2x).
Adding layers on hat, bow and hands with 3-D POP DOTS.
I also added a pearl to his bow.The Dr.Seuss tag was made with a
zig-zag scissor, which I distressed around the edges.The crinkle ribbon is
from LSP.Thanks Karen! I made a bow from twine and added a button
on the center of my Gorgeous Red Bow!
Oh!And of course I cannot forget my white BOA...
Just for an Extra touch of CUTENESS!!

  13. How in the world do you come up with such fabulous ideas??? Migdalia, if there is one thing I adore is YOUR STYLE of cards.... This card is truly amazing and so much fun!!!! Michael was into Dr. Seuss for years and still is at times, he would love this card, I will have to show him when he is done spinning... I honestly can't watch him I get dizzy..seriously I do!! lol... Your white boa made this card look so real, love it!!! I am all fuzzy now with all that fluffiness..hehe!
