Trendy Twine - A Beachbound Treat!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Today it's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. I will be featuring this month's spotlight, Nautical Trendy Twine along with the Medium Candy Bags.

For my project, I made a "beachbound" treat bag.
I welded (Portrait) a tag from the Layered Tags 2 Cutting Files from PPPR for the topper.
I used the beach umbrella, "beachbound" caption and the pail with shovel die cuts from SVG Attic's Just Beachy collection. I used 3-D pop dots to adhere all of the die cuts to the topper for dimension. I then wrapped the Nautical Trendy Twine around the handle of the topper and tied a little bow. I also used the Nautical Trendy Twine on the handle of the pail.
I placed a starfish brad from Eyelets Outlet.
I filled the medium candy bag with gum balls. Yummy!!!!
I used my ATG to adhere the topper onto the medium candy bag.
I will be making more of the "beachbound" treat bag for a kid's birthday party that I will be
attending in a week. I am sure they will love it!!!

Here is a closer look at the handle of the topper with the Nautical Trendy Twine
as well as the pail (handle). I also added a tiny pearl on the beach umbrella and pail.

  10. Hello
Want to drop a note to thank you for your sweet comments. They mean a lot to me that you have taken the time to stop by. I have not been on the computer much. As I am caregiving for a dear friend who had Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Every day her fragile body is deteriorating. I have not ever seen someone dying right in front of me. All I can do is just keep her comfortable, encourage her and trust the Lord to be her comfort and joy. So please do not be dismayed, when I am unable to stop by your blogs and leave some love.
Your project/card is amazing and look forward to stopping by when I can. Have a wonderful day and even better week.

  17. This is a fantastic creation! I do love the beach, but combining that with goodies has made me totally giddy! Your topper is filled with such remarkable attention to detail like the pearl on the umbrella! And what an energetic and happy color palette you chose. It goes along with the treats so well and the whole thing made me smile...and made me want to eat some candy! Really lovely work here and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
