Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Friday! Woo-Hoo!!
My work schedule has been a little crazy but I was able to sneak in some crafty time to make a card for one of my bloggy friends. I wanted her to know how much I appreciate her bloggy friendship. She is truly an amazing person.
She recently redecorated her craft room and gave it a more adult theme but she absolutely loves Owls! I think they are just adorable!!
She made a valance out of the cards that her bloggy friends have sent her and she needs to have one from me too...lol. Her colors are pink & black with a splash of green.
So, for the card base and layers I used "Recollections" chevron, polka dot & basic card stock. My adorable owl is included in the Assorted Owls file from Miss Kate Cuttables.
Now for the owl, I used the "Pinks & Reds" paper pad from Craft Smith and the "Edumacation Stack" from DCWV for her bow. The "Smile" sentiment is from Mini Greetings from Your Next Stamp which I stamped on a die cut banner. I added a pretty flower to the banner and white pearls to each corner for some cuteness!
I hope she loves it!!
I was inspired by this week's sketch #459 over at Mojo Monday!
